FAQs about Large Format
Large format printing involves sizes larger than Din A3 (29.7 x 42 cm). It is used for everything from advertising claims to scientific posters for university exhibitions.
The main advantage is the visual impact contrasted with its low cost.
The main materials are base paper for plans, matte or photo cardboard for images and others such as polypropylene used for outdoor use and textile fabric, which can be folded for easy transport.
Gràfic Centre offers printing on canvas and finished on a wooden frame for hanging.
The main characteristic of tarpaulins is that both the inks and the material are compatible with the outdoors. The alternative to the tarpaulin is the banner, which is micro-perforated so that the wind can pass through it and it does not act as a sail. Tarpaulins are used e.g. for printing facade banners.
